Our Vision is to se a church ready to meet Jesus Christ. For over 40 years, the Africa Gospel Church, as a mission– founded Church, has had a missionary passion. God sent missionaries from other continent to share the Gospel with us. We must also reach out to those who have not heard the gospel of Jesus Christ!
The History of AGC Missions
The AGC sent its first Kenyan Missionaries in 1963. Currently we have 49 Kenyan Missionaries with a total of 18 children serving in fifteen stations. These Mission fields are categorized into 5 major fields, spanning Kenya, Tanzania, Uganda and Sudan. Our missionaries are people with a special call from God to serve in cross cultural ministry.
Their financial support comes from all AGC local churches as well as national & International partners. The local AGC support are raised through weekly missions offerings kept in mission boxes and collection during mission day. AGC has officially started another approach where by a missionary is given time to raise his support before he is allowed to go to the field. We hope you will support them by signing a form bearing their names and approved by Mission Office.
Training
Our missionaries are theologically trained and this makes them capable for the work before them.
Through the power of the Holy Spirit, our missionaries are able to stand in times of difficulties and trials, The whole work is challenging but Christ gives equal strengthen in every challenge, and all of them can testify to the faithfulness of God.
Kenya Highlands Bible College is our main training institution for our missionaries. Ninety percent of them are graduates of KHBC. In addition, the college sends students to the mission fields for holiday ministries. This has been a big boost to our missions’ work and has been a great encouragement to our missionaries. Other Missionaries are also graduates of Kaboson Pastors School among other bible training institutions. Olderkesi Ministry Training Institute train our indigenous pastors and church leaders.
Local church participation
Local Churches in Kenya have played an important role by participating in AGC Missions. We have had many local churches send work and ministry teams to the different fields. Many have gone for evangelism, others to help teach seminars, others to for various work projects, and other specialized work.
About our Ministries
