Turkwel: Raphael and Emmy Ondicho
Raphael and Emmy Ondicho are leading the church planting and evangelism ministries at the Turkwel station in Turkana.
Raphael is a graduate of Kabason Pastor’s School, and Emmy has a certificate in Early Childhood Education.
The ministries in Turkwel concentrate on Christian Education, evangelism, youth ministry and pastoral work. Emmy teaches at the Lorogon Primary School in addition to helping with the church ministries.
In addition to the work at Turkwel, they are also working to start additional churches in the area.
Turkana is the largest district in Kenya. From Kainuk to Lokichokio is 583 km, and the road and communication networks are very poor.
The Ondichos have 4 children: Meshack Kimutai and Caleb Kiprotich are in primary school, and Daidy Chepngeno and Egla Chepngeno are in nursery school.
