MISSIONS
The Missions Department oversees the outreach ministries to unreached and under reached people groups, especially in hardship arid and semi-arid parts of the nation where accessibility is difficult and infrastructure is minimal if present at all.
Africa Gospel Church has established over twenty mission stations with an emphasis on a holistic approach.
In such areas we have initiated schools, medical clinics, churches and self-help projects.
Due to the vast extent of these regions strategic partnerships would enhance broad developmental projects that will serve these communities in a more sustainable form.
A key challenge we face is the support of personnel who are serving in difficult places. Their goal is the training and equipping of the community.

This new strategy is built on partnership of AGC Areas, Urban Churches and international and national partners. It proposes a paradigm shift from prioritizing projects to prioritizing people. The missionary salary, ministry expenses, local leadership development and projects will be undertaken in that order.
These partners are now commissioned to cast the vision, coordinate prayers, constantly visit the mission field, care for the missionary, cultivate local leaders, champion projects and communicate the impact. From today henceforth every AGC Area and Urban Church is assigned a missionary and a mission field for five years then they rotate out. Please pray for complete buy in throughout our church and amongst our partners so that the words of 2Corinthians 8:1-5 will be true among us. The turn out of leaders was great and we expect great results.
